Excellent place very welcoming, clearly they know their regular customers. I wasn't but was still looked after perfectly with a well cooked hot breakfast. Great service thankyou

On my way home fancied a jacket and salad..popped in and ordered with cheese and beans..had extra coleslaw..and a side salad garnish..The plate came out with a good sized portion of everything..(compared to other cafes)..I struggled to eat it all..very tasty homemade coleslaw..and the potato was not dry (compared to others elsewhere)..would highly recommend..very clean place..staff very friendly and I felt very relaxed and enjoyed my visit..will go there again..value for money..and a good selection of choices..Thankyou to the owners.

Discovered this little gem when craving a cooked breakfast. The staff here are amazing, very friendly and really lovely to talk to. I have eaten out in similar café environments or the more expensive restaurants but this is the only place I have really felt like the staff care about the customers and I can't praise them highly enough.The food was gorgeous too, my cooked breakfast was extremely hot, not at all greasy, very tasty and the portion size was perfect, lots of it! Great cup of tea to accompany it too.I am not ashamed to admit I came back the following two days and wouldn't choose anywhere else for a similar meal in Colchester. Fantastic place, clean and tidy, prices are very reasonable and extremely welcoming and friendly staff.

This is a great cafe with a menu full of classic meals such as an all day breakfast, jacket potatoes and nuggets and chips for the children. The food was served quickly and the staff also made sure we were comfortable with checking if we needed a high chair or not.Vinnys is the place to go if you want a quick meal, which is value for money and not a chain.

I've visited Vinny's twice in the last few days. The first time I was really impressed with both the quality of the food and, perhaps even more so, it's presentation I don't think I've ever seen such well presented food in this kind of placeSo today I noticed there was a different chef and a different waiter and wondered whether it would be the same. Perhaps it just been a one of but no, it was incredible again; beautiful food really well presented! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

First time at vinnys cafe as I wanted to find a cafe that was reasonable priced as fed up with paying 7 for a sandwich in other cafes !! Best & cheapest egg sandwich I have bought in Colchester , fresh bread and my eggs were very well done as asked for perfect lunch & drink just under 4.50 !! Will be returning again . Very happy customer
